Norman E. Hargis

Bio: Norm works at Bridger Coal Company as Manager of Environmental Affairs. “Serving in the Foundation is a gratifying experience because it brings together very knowledgeable and committed people backed by environmentally committed members of the mining industry. The result of collaboration between these companies, other land users and stakeholders, and government conservation agencies will be the sustainability of the land and wildlife resources that we value so much along with a prosperous and sustainable industrial base. Both are key components of the economy and quality of life in southwest Wyoming. Land reclamation, environmental monitoring, and resource mitigation are well-developed technologies based in science. The Foundation will further the advancement and application of these to the benefit of the land, wildlife, industry, and other land users and residents of our area.”
